Witnessing the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, giving speech on our country’s aim in promoting Indonesia 4.0 at the Opening Ceremony of Hannover Messe 2023 in Germany was truly an honor for Wiraraja Indonesia. President Joko Widodo expressed his appreciation for the world’s largest industrial and technology exhibition Hannover Messe 2023. Mr. President gave a speech in which one of them is that Indonesia was honored to be the first country in ASEAN to be chosen as an official partner country at the Hannover Messe event.
In the exhibition which was attended by more than 90 countries, Indonesia carried the theme “Making Indonesia 4.0”. According to the President, this theme is very relevant to the condition of Indonesia which is undergoing economic transformation. Apart from that, through Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia wants to show its identity as a land of opportunity and as a future manufacturing hub that is always open to cooperation and investment. The President gave an example of the partnership between Germany and Indonesia as a good North-South partnership.
We had such a meaningful evening enjoying the diverse cultural dances and music performances of Indonesia along with robotics showcase, and the speeches from the Chancellor of Germany and several company leaders from Germany.
